Job Description:

K. R. Mangalam College is in search of a visionary Dean to lead the Law School
department in Gurugram. The appointed Dean will spearhead strategic initiatives,
oversee day-to-day operations, and uphold academic excellence within the department.
Collaborating closely with faculty, students, and external stakeholders, the Dean will
propel the Law School’s mission and vision forward

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to elevate the reputation and academic standards
    of the Law School.
  • Cultivate a culture of innovation in teaching, learning, and research within the faculty
    and student body.
  • Act as the primary representative of the Law School both internally within the university
    and externally.
  • Lead the creation, evaluation, and accreditation processes of law programs.
  • Attract, mentor, and nurture a diverse and exceptional faculty team.
  • Refine student recruitment strategies and champion student achievement.
  • Oversee budgetary matters for the Law School and drive fundraising endeavours.
  • Forge meaningful partnerships with legal professionals and community entities.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a terminal degree in Law (e.g., LLM, JD, PhD) from a reputable institution.
  • Demonstrated track record of academic and professional accomplishments in the field
    of law.
  • Extensive experience in leadership positions within higher education.
  • Exceptional aptitude in leadership, communication, and interpersonal relations.
  • Dedication to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in academic settings.
