Who We Are Looking for:

We are seeking a skilled Horizontal IT Audit Manager to lead planning, assessment,
testing, and issue validation phases of audit projects. This role focuses on Resiliency,
along with Identity and Access Management, Change Management, and Robotics
Process Automation / Artificial Intelligence.

What You Will Be Responsible for:

  • Evaluate and test internal controls, applying information technology audit skills.
  • Work collaboratively in an international team with global stakeholders,
    especially in new and changing situations.
  • Perform planning, assessment, testing, and issue validation phases of audits
    covering Identity Access Management, Change Management, Resiliency, and
    selected attestations globally.
  • Conduct independent and objective risk and control assessments to enhance risk
    management practices.
  • Assess systems and controls for compliance with laws, regulations, and company
    policies.
  • Prepare audit work papers to ensure compliance with the division’s risk-based
    audit methodology.
  • Communicate complicated technical issues in business terms using excellent
    writing skills.
  • Influence change and provide insights on business initiatives, including pre/post
    system implementations.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in IT Audit, Consulting, or Business Process Engineering,
    preferably in Financial Services.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, accounting, or
    related field; Advanced degree in information technology, cyber security, or
    systems engineering is a plus.
  • One or more industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CIA, CISA, CISSP, CISM,
    Cloud+), with a willingness to continue learning and growing.
  • Proficiency or knowledge in evaluating and testing internal controls and applying
    a risk-based audit approach.
  • Experience in data analytics and data visualization.
  • Experience auditing technology-related areas such as Technical Resiliency,
    Business Continuity Management, IT General Controls, Automated business
    process controls (AI, Machine Learning, Robotics), and Identity and Access
    Management

Additional Requirements:

While the majority of work will be from your primary location, some domestic and
international travel may be required to various State Street locations.
