Expected Salary: ₹ 15 – 22 Lakh Per Annum
Experience: 8 – 10 Years

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables:

  • Conduct finite element modeling of vehicle components and systems.
  • Assign thickness and material properties to components.
  • Build finite element assemblies for vehicle structures, understanding different types of
    connections like spot and seam welding.
  • Apply loads and boundary conditions for linear and nonlinear static analysis.
  • Perform modal, frequency response, and transient analysis for vehicle components and
    systems.
  • Conduct fatigue life estimation for vehicle structures, spot and seam welds.
  • Postprocess results, create reports, and present findings to the design team.
  • Recommend design modifications to meet acceptance criteria based on analysis results,
    manufacturing, and packaging constraints.

Experience:

MTech with 8 to 10 years of experience.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong fundamentals in strength of materials, applied mechanics, and finite element
    methods.
  • Knowledge of different tests for vehicle systems and test instrumentations.
  • Proficiency in meshing tools like Hypermesh, SIMLAB.
  • Experience with solvers such as Nastran, Abaqus, Ansys.
  • Post-processing skills using tools like HyperView.
  • Familiarity with FEMFAT.

Industry Preferred:

ME or MTech in Machine Design.

General Requirements:

  • Previous experience in engineering management, manufacturing, and welding.
  • Proven ability to correlate CAE results with physical test results
