💡About the Role:
As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide essential day-to-day support to patients and help maintain a safe, comfortable care environment.
You’ll assist with personal care, mobility, meals and basic health observations while communicating important changes to nurses.
📌Key Responsibilities:
📌 Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming and restroom activities.
📌 Measure and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, blood pressure and respiration.
📌 Turn and reposition bedridden patients safely.
📌 Help patients transfer to wheelchairs and assist with walking or mobility.
📌 Support patients during meals and monitor food and liquid intake.
📌 Observe changes in patients’ physical or emotional condition.
📌 Report relevant patient observations and changes to nursing staff.
📌 Keep patient rooms clean, safe and properly stocked with required supplies.
🎯Requirements:
🎯 High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
🎯 Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant or CNA training program.
🎯 Valid nursing assistant certification or license, where applicable.
🎯 Strong empathy and patience when working with patients.
🎯 Clear and effective communication skills.
🎯 Ability to stand and work for extended shifts.
🎯 Physical ability to safely lift, move and reposition patients.
