Overview:

The Primary French Teacher (GIIS2023-78) position requires a skilled individual capable
of creating engaging and effective lesson plans. The ideal candidate should possess 2-3
years of experience in teaching grades 1-5 and be passionate about providing students
with a rich cultural understanding of the French language.

Responsibilities:

  1. Developing and planning French teaching strategies for the primary section.
  2. Implementing teaching lessons according to grade levels.
  3. Explaining concepts to students in the French language.
  4. Developing teaching materials and aids.
  5. Performing administrative tasks as needed.
  6. Providing extra attention to struggling students.
  7. Preparing assessments like examinations and tests.
  8. Ensuring correct pronunciation of French words by students.
  9. Conducting innovative sessions for students.
  10. Communicating with students in the French language.
  11. Preparing lessons aligned with the educational curriculum.
  12. Gathering feedback from students and parents.
  13. Organizing fun activities and events.
  14. Maintaining reports for future reference.
  15. Attending parents-teachers conferences as required.
  16. Researching various teaching methods and materials.

Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or certification in the French language, French Literature, or a related
    field.
  • Prior experience working as a French teacher.
