At Electronic Arts, the Senior Accountant II role sits where accounting accuracy, business judgment and operational discipline meet. You’ll work across General Ledger, Record to Report, US GAAP, reconciliations and month-end close while helping improve how finance processes work at scale.

Within EA’s finance organisation, the Record to Report function supports accurate financial reporting, controls and accounting processes across the business.

💡About the Role:
As a Senior Accountant II, you’ll take ownership of important accounting activities within EA’s Record to Report function.

Your work will span General Ledger accounting, bank reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, intercompany accounting, fixed assets and lease accounting, along with month-end close and balance sheet analysis.

You’ll also act as a subject matter expert in areas such as intercompany and lease accounting, work with stakeholders and help identify opportunities to make finance operations more efficient.

📌Key Responsibilities:
📌 Perform and review General Ledger activities, including reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets and journal entries.

📌 Handle intercompany and lease accounting activities while resolving complex accounting queries.

📌 Prepare and review Balance Sheet reconciliations with meaningful analysis of account movements.

📌 Support monthly and quarterly financial close activities.

📌 Apply US GAAP and accounting principles to transactions and issue resolution.

📌 Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements and audit processes.

📌 Identify aged or unreconciled balances and take action to mitigate accounting risks.

📌 Drive process improvements through standardisation, automation and operational efficiency.

📌 Support quarterly reviews, business reviews and finance projects.

📌 Contribute to process transitions, documentation and service-level requirements.

📌 Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver finance objectives accurately and on time.

🎯Requirements:
🎯 Qualified CA with 4–5 years of experience OR Master’s degree in Commerce with 9–10 years of relevant experience.

🎯 Experience in accounting and reconciliation within a large MNC, BPO/KPO or captive finance environment.

🎯 Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and core accounting principles.

🎯 Experience handling complex accounting areas such as intercompany, leases or fixed assets.

🎯 Hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12.

🎯 Exposure to multi-currency accounting environments.

🎯 Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and working knowledge of PowerPoint.

🎯 Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

🎯 Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

🎯 High attention to detail, accuracy and ownership.

🎯 Ability to manage multiple priorities while working with moderate supervision.

🎯 Willingness to work from the Hyderabad office under a hybrid model.
