💡About the Role:
As a Senior Healthcare Data Integration Analyst, you will lead and support the onboarding of healthcare data from member organizations and third-party sources into the Truveta platform.
You will work at the intersection of healthcare informatics, data engineering and analytics, understanding source systems, profiling datasets, developing source-to-target mappings, defining transformation rules and validating data quality.
The role also involves regular collaboration with U.S.-based engineering, product and member teams, including overlap with U.S. Pacific Time business hours. 🇺🇸
📌Key Responsibilities:
- Lead onboarding of healthcare data from member source systems and third-party sources.
- Partner with technical and clinical teams to understand source data structures and workflows.
- Perform comprehensive data profiling for completeness, quality, conformance and integrity.
- Develop and maintain source-to-target mappings aligned with platform data models.
- Define, implement and validate business and data transformation rules.
- Design and support automated validation and regression testing for onboarding workflows.
- Document data onboarding methodologies, transformation logic and quality findings.
- Translate complex healthcare workflows into clear technical specifications.
- Communicate effectively with both customer-facing and highly technical stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve scalability, efficiency and reliability of data onboarding.
- Collaborate with engineering, product and external healthcare partners. 🔗
🎯Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering or healthcare data implementation.
- 3+ years of implementation experience with Epic, Cerner, MEDITECH or Allscripts.
- 3+ years of experience analyzing large datasets.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python or R.
- Experience with data profiling, source-to-target mapping and validation testing.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing and ETL/ELT processes.
- Knowledge of healthcare terminology, clinical workflows and healthcare data.
- Working knowledge of HL7, FHIR and CCDA.
- Familiarity with clinical ontologies including ICD, SNOMED, LOINC, RxNorm, CPT and NDC.
- Ability to translate business workflows into technical requirements.
- Strong documentation, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to collaborate across time zones with U.S. teams.
