๐What happens when software meets a real customer problem?
The ticket arrives.
An API isn’t responding.
A workflow has broken.
A data record doesn’t look right.
A JSON payload isn’t behaving as expected.
And someone needs to go beyond saying:
“We’ll look into it.”
They need to find the problem and fix it.
That’s where this opportunity at Zinier comes in.
Zinier is hiring a Software Development Engineer โ Customer Experience (L1) in Bangalore, joining its global 24/7 Support Engineering team.
This role sits directly between engineering and customers โ giving you the opportunity to debug real production problems, work across the technology stack, and help shape better customer experiences.
๐About Zinier:
Zinier is a technology company focused on empowering frontline and deskless workers through its no-code customization platform. ๐๐ป
With around 80% of the global workforce considered deskless, Zinier builds technology designed to improve the productivity and experience of the people who keep essential operations running.
The company has a global workforce spanning the United States, Canada, Europe, Latin America, Singapore, and Bangalore.
Its investors include Accel, ICONIQ Capital, Founders Fund, Newfund Capital, NGP Capital, Tiger Global Management, and Qualcomm Ventures.
๐กAbout the Role:
As an SDE โ Customer Experience (L1), you’ll become part of Zinier’s global Support Engineering function.

But there’s another interesting part.
You won’t be limited to support tickets.
Depending on bandwidth and interests, you may contribute to Engineering, Implementation, Delivery, Solution Architecture, AI initiatives, and internal tooling.
That makes this more than a traditional support role.
It’s an opportunity to build technical depth while developing the ability to understand what customers actually need from software.

๐ Maintain high standards for customer communication and response-time adherence. ๐ฌ
๐ Participate in technical and product training to deepen platform knowledge. ๐
๐ Participate in on-call rotations and occasional weekend support based on shift requirements. โฐ

๐ฅCareer Insight:
Some engineers build software.
Others spend their careers understanding why software breaks.
The second group develops a different kind of advantage.
They learn how systems behave in the real world.
They see what customers struggle with.
They understand APIs, databases, workflows, logs, and production environments.
And they learn how technical decisions affect the people actually using the product.
That’s why a customer-facing engineering role can become a powerful career accelerator.
You aren’t just fixing tickets.
You’re learning how to build technology that people can actually depend on.
