💡About the Role:
WEX is hiring a Software Development Engineer (SDE 1) 👨‍💻 for its Bangalore office.This role focuses on building scalable backend systems and payment technologies that support global fleet and mobility payment solutions across EU and APAC regions.Candidates will work with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and DevOps technologies while collaborating with global engineering and product teams 🚀

📌Key Responsibilities:
📌 Develop scalable and high-performance backend applications using Java ☕
📌 Build and maintain REST APIs and microservices using Spring Boot 🌐
📌 Write unit, integration, and end-to-end automated tests 🧪
📌 Participate in agile ceremonies and code reviews 🤝
📌 Learn and contribute to DevOps and CI/CD practices ⚙️
📌 Work with Docker, Jenkins, and deployment pipelines 🐳
📌 Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineers 💻
📌 Support production systems and assist in incident resolution 🔍
📌 Monitor application performance and system reliability 📈

🎯Requirements:
🎯 1–3 years of software development experience 👨‍💻
🎯 Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts 💻
🎯 Knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms ⚡
🎯 Experience with Java backend development ☕
🎯 Familiarity with RESTful APIs and relational databases 🌐
