Role Overview:

Gartner is seeking a Test Engineer with expertise in ETL data warehousing, SQL scripting,
and BI report validation to join our dynamic team. As a Test Engineer, you will play a
crucial role in ensuring quality delivery by implementing best-fit testing approaches and
following industry best practices. Experience in MDM systems and API testing is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

✓ Review functional and technical documents to understand data lineage.
✓ Create and execute manual and automated test plans for ETL data pipelines,
functionality, acceptance, regression, and performance testing.
✓ Collaborate with developers and Business Analysts in an agile development
environment to understand requirements and conduct testing.
✓ Design and develop automation scripts.
✓ Perform root cause analysis on reported issues.

Qualifications:

✓ 2-4 years of hands-on experience in ETL concepts and testing in data
warehouse/data-driven projects.
✓ Strong command of writing complex PL/SQL scripts for Datawarehouse/ETL
testing.
✓ Understanding and testing experience in Data Warehousing/MDM and Data
modeling.
✓ Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
✓ Experience in testing ETL pipelines, BI dashboards, and Self-Service reports.
✓ Hands-on experience with Test management tools like JIRA, QC, etc.
✓ Experience in testing APIs using Postman or automation tools is a plus.
✓ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
