Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide VMware support and handle incident and work requests within the
    virtualization infrastructure.
  • Configure and optimize the virtual infrastructure.
  • Monitor and provide advice on capacity requirements.
  • Ensure security compliance under relevant security policies.
  • Liaise on virtualization configuration with storage systems and system administrators.
  • Provide support and advice to projects requiring IT platforms support.
  • Proactively manage the environment to prevent incidents.
  • Identify inefficiencies in operations for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • 8 to 10 years of experience in systems administration.
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows Server versions (2003 to 2022).
  • Experience in managing Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in DNS, DHCP, and file services.
  • Troubleshoot OS and server hardware-related issues.
  • Proactively identify and troubleshoot issues in the Windows environment.
  • Manage McAfee ePO server and maintain the latest DAT versions on client systems.
