About the Role:
📍As Business Analyst – Team Lead (EDC Devices), you’ll work closely with hardware, software, and data teams for Paytm’s device ecosystem.
📍You will analyze device health, battery metrics, firmware versions, latency, and field defects.
📍You’ll lead insights across new device launches and refurbished hardware pipelines, shaping decision-making and ensuring device performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze FFR (Failure-For-Refund) ladders by defect, aging, and model from MHD funnel
- Build performance dashboards (BSR, latency) on daily/weekly/monthly cadence
- Analyze refurbished device data: defects, parts replaced, warranty claims
- Monitor new devices across metrics (latency, battery, health)
- Track model-wise device health: battery capacity, SW versions, live devices
- Monitor lifecycle metrics: SIM issues, charging faults, battery discharge issues
- Identify issues in components: speaker, latching, battery, startup failures
- Track devices on older software and schedule batch FOTA (firmware over the air) updates
- Automate reporting, dashboards, and MIS generation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate insights into device improvements
Requirements:
📌Advanced expertise in SQL
📌Basic knowledge of Python
📌Experience with visualization tools like Google Looker (or similar)
📌Hands-on experience with Excel, VBA, and dashboard / MIS building
📌Experience with data integration, extraction, automation
📌Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
📌2+ years in analytics or product role preferred
📌Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management

🎯Experience in building new data tables / ETL pipelines
🎯Experience with Looker Studio or data visualization platforms

Compensation & Benefits:
