About the Role:
🔩 As an Engineer – Materials (Test Engineer – Fasteners), you will perform screw and fastener failure analysis, metallographic sample preparation, and testing within an R&D lab environment.You’ll generate test reports, maintain lab equipment, support QMS and test standards, and contribute to quality improvements in fastener technology.


Key Responsibilities:

  • 🧪 Perform screw/fastener analysis and failure analysis following Valeo standards and ISO-related fastener standards.
  • 🔬 Prepare and analyze metallographic samples; conduct tests (shear/pull, defect analysis) and use optical microscopy for defect identification.
  • 📄 Prepare detailed test reports, maintain lab equipment, support QMS/test standard improvements, and contribute to continuous quality improvement.

Requirements:

  • 🎓 BE in Mechanical/Materials/Metallurgy; experience in fastener failure analysis and test benches.
  • 🔧 Strong knowledge of fastener technology, power tools for fasteners, assembly/disassembly, manufacturing and coating technologies, and ISO fastener standards.
  • 🔍 Experience in lab environments, industrial lab documentation, mechatronic processes, test standards, and material analysis techniques is a plus.
  • 💬 Good report writing/communication, team collaboration, lab/equipment maintenance, and ability to repeat tasks with high precision.
