💡About the Role:
As an English Teacher – Secondary, you will plan and deliver the English curriculum, guide students through their academic journey, and create a positive classroom environment.

You will work closely with coordinators and fellow teachers to ensure effective curriculum delivery, support students preparing for internal and board assessments, and contribute to school-wide activities and development initiatives.

📌Key Responsibilities:
📚 Curriculum & Classroom Delivery

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons using varied teaching strategies.
• Follow the school’s curriculum and teaching framework.
• Maintain lesson planners, curriculum records, and academic documentation.
• Correct student notebooks and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Set meaningful homework and monitor student progress.
• Use classroom activities, learning resources, and technology to improve learning outcomes.

🎯 Student Development & Mentoring

• Support students’ academic, social, and personal development.
• Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
• Help students prepare for internal assessments and board examinations.
• Identify students who may need additional or SEN support.
• Maintain accurate academic progress records and communicate progress to parents.
• Mentor students and guide them in their learning journey.

🤝 Whole-School Participation

• Collaborate with coordinators and colleagues on curriculum planning.
• Participate in school events, parent meetings, and community activities.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment.
